Wasnt sure where to put this... but is it possible to REMOVE a split E from a flute?

edit: whoops, just realized this would've fit more into the history, instruments, and misc section... someone feel free to move the thread there if you'd like.

It would take a lot to actually replace the mechanisms of the split E, even if it is possible. Probably not worth the trouble.
