Flutists

I am looking for flute only albums by good flutists-musicians.

Sir James Galway
Alexa Still
Leone Buyse
Robert Dick
Michel Debost
Ransom Wilson
Gary Schocker

There are many other fine flutists with recordings, but these are some that come to mind. Others may suggest some more...

Nestor Torres, he's a Latin flautist. And there's Greg Pattillo too with his 3 piece group (Project Trio).

But these are more modern, smooth jazz (Torres) and funky outside the box (Pattillo), but a couple of my fav's nonetheless!

I would also add Amy Porter. If you ever get a chance to hear her live, go for it. Her playing, IMO, is amazing. Also, her Karg-Elert study guide DVD is excellent. If you ever plan on studying these very difficult pieces, I would highly recommend this DVD.
