Gemeinhardt Alto 11AS

I'm considering buying an alto flute, and I see that Gemeinhardt makes quite cheap silver alto flutes. I have the 11AS in mind. Anyone who has any experiences with this particular model?

My flute choir has a Gemeinhardt alto, and we have had great success with it. I took it for for yearly maintenance (we bought it used) and the tech commented on the quality of the instrument verses some that he had recently worked on. Didn't mention any specific brands.
