post grade 8

Post by zummerzet_lou »

This time next year I hope to be ready to take my grade 8 exam. Quite
unbelievable really, as I bought a secondhand flute when I was 24 - 5 years ago!
The trouble is that now I am beginning to think about afterwards. Up until now,
I''ve always had the next exam to work towards, but when they are all out of
the way .. what happens then? Is there a normal path to take, to help me to
continue my progress? Cheers, Lucy[:)]

Dear Lucy, I think it is time for you to put your knowledge
to work. You can look for some orchestras or groups in your area and see if they
need a flute player. It is a lot of fun to play with other people. It will also
stimulate you to learn more and progress. Good luck!
