Wedding Flute Duets

Post by ncomposer »

Hi again everyone!
I just created some flute duets that are typical for a wedding ceremony. As always, I am open to suggestions for other arrangements to create or even a commission to write something original:

I'd be more than happy to answer any questions. That's what this board is for is to help each other :D

As for flute and tuba duets, that is something I have not done yet. It is something I would hope to do at some point. In the meanwhile, you should check out Double Play. They are a husband and wife flute and tuba duo and they could certainly point you in the right direction: http://www.doubleplayfluteandtuba.com/

I think the idea of a wedding flute duet is cool because flute is a romantic instrument for me. Only few people know how to play flute. I guess the combination of the flute and violin makes a very good sound.

Yes it is, and violins can play the flute part since they are both concert pitch instruments :)

I deeply agree. It is just so romantic to hear such duet. The music is really soothing in my ear. Flute always combine wonderfully in almost all kind of instruments.

I'm in a similar situation as you were. Just wondering what you ended up doing? I'm interested to know before my upcoming Wedding San Diego

Thanks in advance!
