I found an Artley flute in the trash of a neighbor thats moving.
It looks old and has the words silver on it it is in its case and has 3 pieces
and the number 111504 on it . any info on the flute would be great and maybe its worth.

Based upon the serial number, it was made in 1963. If you found it in the trash, it is likely not in playing condition. It probably would need a complete overhaul or at least a repad to put it in playing condition. That could cost upward of $200 or more.
Unfortunately, Artley flutes are not in high demand. Artleys are often listed for sale on eBay, but few of them sell. The ones that do sell are usually listed as being in good playing condition but even then they usually go for less than $50. Even though the Artley Artist is a silver flute, it won't be worth a lot more.
Your best bet may be to check with local music repair shops. Sometimes they will buy old instruments for parts. That might get you $10-$25 depending upon the condition - all parts present, metal parts not bent or badly dented, etc.
