Hello! :)

Post by jemarch »

I have been reading this forum for a looong time, but never posted anything here. Today I finally decided to re-activate my never-used account and write you a line!

I have been playing the flute since around 2006. I first used a Jupiter 507S (in the first 3 years) and then decided to move forward and get a Miyazawa 102, which is perfect and is probably the best flute I will ever need as an amateur.

Now I am considering getting a dimedici alto flute...

Anyway, thanks to all you for the excellent material that you post in this forum, and hello :)

Hi there,

welcome!

Can't say I use this forum much either - too busy with life :)

The Dimedici 13x range alto flutes are glorious - superb value.

I play a Trevor James Recital II; I couldn't find the Dimedici 132x series where I live, and the cost unfortunately was double what you're been asked, for the above!

Sounds like a great deal.

It'd be great to hear what alto repertoire you get into. I find alto scores rather thin, or short on the ground.

Kind regards.
