I have been a self-employed instrument maker since jan. 2000, I started with hand drums, but have also made tone-boxes, didgeridoos, and fret-less basses. Last March I began making staved flutes. By that I mean that they are constructed from angled strips of wood that form a tube when assembled. I first made transverse flutes, but found that most people could not figure out how to play them.. I had a short tapered tube that I had trimmed off the top of a didgeridoo many years ago, and I gave it a whistle style mouthpiece, tuned it to the key of "G", and the first Eliphone was born.. realizing that the expanding sound chamber did a great job of amplifying the instrument, and I ran with the idea. I created 15 more in the following month. Then after watching an amazing "flute-boxing" video, I was inspired to include a funnel shaped mouthpiece that allows a player to whistle or beatbox into the flute while playing. Now I'm working on dozens of them. I tried to post my invention on Wikipedia, but they deleted my definition, stating that I had no reference, but the did allow me to put a picture up in the Wiki Commons:

I'm working on getting a website built corylittle.com , although currently it's just a link to my Etsy page, and an email contact. Any ideas?
