Sir James Live at Lincoln Center

Did anyone else get to watch Sir James and his wife perform last night on PBS ? My daughter and I watched it and it was truly an amazing experience to actually see him perform live.

We taped it so that we can watch it again. We are always hoping that he will visit here on tour so that we will be able to go and hear him in person so this TV broadcast was the next best thing

I got to see Sir James perform live a couple months ago!! I was really excited that he came to San Diego to open our symphony's season. It was really awesome. We got a new principal flutist and apparently Sir James has been mentoring him since he was a child! (His name is Demarre McGill, for the record.) Sir James talked about it and they played a duet and it was really cool. He also played duets with his wife. It was just a really awesome experience...I highly recommend seeing him live in concert if you can!

My flute teacher says that Sir James will be coming to perform in Vancouver, British Columbia (where I live) in March! I don't know if I will be going yet as it is bound to be quite pricey...but I sure hope so. =)

Hi,
I don't think he preforms live on TV often, at least not on channels that we are able to get here. I learned of this recent broadcast on his website because I check it frequently to see if he might be coming here on tour.
