arltey piccolos?

Post by Becky Lynn »

i know i'm supposed to be careful ordering piccolos off of ebay but i discovered this artley brand name and i was wondering if it was any good? i know that when i purchase it it will need some repair, as the owners selling it say they got it at an estate sale. any tips? thanks!

I am not exactly thrilled with Artley piccolos in general, but I definately would not buy knowing that it will need repairs. Even if it is cheap, you may end up putting $100 or more into it in order to make it play. I would not recommend buying any instrument that you cannot play test before buying. Even then, take it to a reliable tech to check it out if possible.
