Giardinelli Flutes?

I read somewhere that they are related to Gemeinhardt flutes but havent heard much about their sound, playability, etc. Care to sure your thoughts about them?

Essentially they are basic student/intermediate level instruments commissioned from the Gemeinhardt company. They are built at the Gemeinhardt factory, but stamped with the Giardinelli name. I have not played them, but would expect a very similar flute to Gemeinhardts of the same specs.
