Hey I'm new!

Post by liv4music »

Heyy, I'm Sam. I'm 15 years old, I'm from New Hampshire, adn I'm a frechman in High School. I've been playing the flute for about 5 1/2 years. The Concert band at my school is pretty pathetic, as there's only like, 9 people in it (there were only 6 in Jazz Band) but I guess it's okay, cuz me and my best friend are the best ones ( i dont mean to sound sure of myslef, but oh well...).

I'm really working hard on a couple of solos to audition for the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade Marching Band. I was wondering if anyone else is also?

My band is thinking of attending Macy's Parade next year or the following year. But on March, my band is playing in the St. Pat's parade in Phili!

How interesting! This March the CMENC chapter at my university [Collegiate Music Educators....] is going to NYC the same time as the St. Pat's. Day Parade. It will be a blast. We are going to listen to the NY philharmonic, attending a few rehearsals, take lessons at juillard, attending some operas, and just tons and tons of great music stuff.
