Hey, I was just wondering if anyone else has tried this material before? At the Flute Society of Kentucky convention, there was a headjoint company there that only used this material, and I thought it was rather.... unusual but interesting...
Any comments?

Yeah, I've seen that, but I was just curious if anyone has played anything made out of this material. It was rather unusual. It was black, felt like porcelain, you smash it into something else, and it wouldnt get damaged whatsoever, and it had a sound quality that was a lot like glass but a lot like wood.... peculiar indeed.... and cheap too. The head I tried had a good [but unusual] sound and it was only for $300....
