I Don't Know What I'm Playing On
Okay, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the instruments I have. I have an Olds NA77S, this one I've been able to find some information on but not much. I also have a Selmer Bundy...this one I kind of inherited and I can't find out anything about it. My section leader was only able to tell me that she started out on this same kind of flute. The last is a piccolo and the most mysterious. I know that it is a Gemeinhardt because it has the lable, it's at least twenty years old and the only distinguishing mark other than the Gemeinhardt lable is the letter C. I dont know if this is somehow the model or if it indicates that it is in the key of C. If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it.

Selmer Bundy was an old line of the Selmer company before they merged with the Conn company. I believe [but am not that certain] that this line was phased out after Selmer joined/ started with Armstrong flutes.
You can go to Selmer-Conn.com and email them about your instrument.
As for your picc, if you email Gemeinhardt, they should have records on your instrument if you give them the serial Number.

Thank you. I think that I'll try that. Like I said in the post the Selmer and piccolo I inherited so I'm not really surprised that the Selmer line was phased out. Even if the flute happens to be a beginner it will be good for outdoor concerts. I think the pads might need to be replaced because the sound is a little fuzzy but it's much darker than the Olds and I really like it. It's a little tougher to get it to respond, which is a challenge that I like. The instrument is a bit heavier too which is also more to my taste. Again thank you.
