Does anyone have any
resources for some good Contemporary Christian or Messianic Flute Music. I''m
looking for up-tempo things like ''Days of Elijah" - things that are rather
fast - or a Hillsongs of Austrailia type. Hopefully with a CD or perhaps a flute
duet. I''ve checked out Flute World - their Contemporary Christian flute music
is outdated. Judy

I play for church and I
have been fortunate to have a choir director who chooses my music (as well as
compose) for me. However, in my pianist's absence, I did purchase a couple of
flute books with CD accomp. One book that comes to mind is called "Hymns for the
Master" with CD. It is not difficult at all but sounds very nice. I got it
through a local music store. It is published by Hal Leonard. Hope this helps.

JSmart! Thanks! I have the
Hymns for the Master - what I'm hoping to find is something Messianic or
something uptempo. The Hymns for the Master is beautiful, but for our church, it
is a little too slow. Thanks for the referal tho! Judy[:)]

I have the same problem. I
can't find any Christian flute music. Since I play at Sunday masses at my
church, I have to find some songs that the instructor will like and I can't
seem to find any music at any of the music stores. HELP!!!!!! Thanks!

Hey All! I've always
wanted to play praise and worship music. I like playing it better than
classical[:)] I love the sound of agnus dei. My 2 bros and sis and me played
that at an important recital.(not to brag) Everyone loved it. So if your ever
wondering about what song you should play in front of church (or anywhere) I
highly reccomend Agnus Dei. My bro composed it himself. (well he just made up
the parts so that we could all play in tune to one another and everything. I
just happened to forget what that was called. Hmm...something like
transformed[:p] Man! I forgot! Oh well.[] .) Just wanted to suggest
the song! Oh! I just thought of something! Isn't it the word TRANSPOSED?!?!?

This song(agnus dei)is
pretty slow, but not draggy (if you know what I mean) It is really fum to play.
I don't know where to get it. My bro. transposed the music for us. He listened
to it off a cd and then transposed the music to fit us. but try this
http://www.higherpraise.com/MusicMidi.htm#A I"m not sure if it will have the
notes though. Hope this helps!
