I need your help asap

Post by shortandsilly »

I accidently dropped my flute today in rehearsal and my f key has a leak now. I have absolutely no access to a repair man anytime soon. The problem is that the key won't close. If you could tell me how to fix it for myself, I would appreciate it very much. I realize I am not supposed to mess with it but it isn't a high quality flute and I need to fix it as soon as possible.

With all the gratitude in the world,
SAS

P.S.
Even telling me what springs and screws the key is connected to may help me.

without photos to show HOW it isnt closing there isnt any way we can help you.

However..... several repairmen will allow you to send your flute to them through UPS or FEDex, or other sorts of delivery systems. This is a route to look into. I know that Robert Johnson at Flute Specialists Inc. does a LOT of work this way. So, I would try calling them at: 1-888-590-5722

If that doesnt work, they have a website. http://www.flutespecialists.com
