When a note is marked with a trill, do you always trill up to the
next note in that key signature? Gerry G

Gerry~ I had no clue but my daughter says.... Yes, you do unless
there is an accidental next to the trill. For example if you were trilling from
B to C and there was a # you would trill from B to C#. The accidental always
affects the upper note of the trill. Kim

Thank you both - when I played trumpet there were never any
trills so I wasn't sure. Thanks again. Gerry G
