Fast fingering in the top octave....

For those of you who play with a B foot & gizmo key:


Can you please share ways that you go from the top G to the top C and back quickly (like in fast arpeggios or tremolos).

It is impossible to do quickly without using an alternate fingering on at least one of the notes because the Right Hand pinky has to jump from the D# key to the Gizmo key and back again when using standard fingering.

Please let me know how YOU handle situations like this.

Its not required to use a gizmo to hit top C. I only use it when I'm holding the C for a period of time.

My flute does not even have a gizmo. My teacher used to get on me about not using it. I guess I fixed that :lol:
