Taffanel and Gaubert Time Table

Post by mclauhs »

In my edition of Taffanel's 17 Daily Exercises for flute it says (on page 3) that there is a time table on page 1 that indicates how much time should be spent on each study. I can't find this time table anywhere. Does anybody know where I can find it.

I have found other flute player's suggestions on how to practice the book, but am curious about Taffanel's original guidelines for practice.

I just recently started with T&G as well and noticed the same thing. I have found some other websites where players talk about their schedule for playing. The best one I found that goes into quite a bit of detail is http://homepage.mac.com/johnwion/tg.html
It suggests working on an exercise a week. I have started following that routine and it seems to work well for me. Hope it helps.
