Is it a problem to have a mustache and play the flute?

I suppose if it was REALLY bushy it could be a problem, but there are plenty of flute players with some sort of beard or mustache.

It looks to me like it would interfere with your airstream a little. A little trimming of the length over the lip line should do the trick. Nothing extreme, just a little trim.
