Pearl head joints

Post by Thespian233 »

Hello all!

Does anybody know what head joint comes on the Pearl Quantz 765? I know it shares the same head joint as the 665, but beyond that I have no idea. I found head joint info for the Dolce line and up, but no info on the Quantz and "Quantz 505" series. Thanks!!

The head joint on the 505, 525, 665, and 765 have the same cut, however they are made of different materals. These do not come with one of the "premier" headjoints.

505 = Silver Plated
525 = Silver Plated with Solid Silver Riser
665 Quantz = Solid Silver
665/765 Quantz Coda = Solid Silver With Gold Lip Plate.

The 40th Aniversary Edition 665 does comes with a "Forze" Headjoint

Hope this helps!

Pearl headjoints on their website

Post by andy957 »

Hi, I'm not entirely sure but you can see all their flutes, headjoints, etc. on their website. The headjoint page is located here http://www.pearlflute.com/_english/tra_headjoints.html. The page on the Quantz 765 RBE (the only 765 model I see) says just that it has a sterling silver headjoint, no other specs as far as I can see. Anyway, http://www.pearlflute.com is the website for all their info.

Thanks for the info. I just got a Pearl 765, and I love it!! I figured it was a student machine cut head joint, but at least in my opinion, it sure doesn't play like one!
