Repair question.....

Post by musical_Kat »

I'm local to the West Palm area. Unfortunately the repairman that I have been using to service my flute for years I can no longer get in touch with. He has either moved out of the area (and I don't have a number or else I would be shipping him my flute) or (and I hope this is not the case but it's possible because he was fairly old) he has passed on. Either way I am now stuck without a trusted technician. I'm trying to get in touch with Craig Christman....has anyone delt with him? I'd like to know if anyone could give me any feedback on him. The other route I was looking into was to possibly ship my flute to Murali Inc. for the repairs. That is an option that scares me because I've never shipped my flute anywhere but I'm willing to do it as long as I know that it will be in good hands. Has anyone ever used them or do you know of anyone that has? Are they reputable? They have a lot of great feedback from "customers" on their site but of course anyone could have written that. Anyway.....the sooner I hear back the better because I need to get these repairs done ASAP.....

Thanks for any help you can give me!!

Kat

Hi,
Doesn't Bruce Bailey live down there near Miami? He comes highly recommended by many flute players.

BTW....are you local to Palm Beach County? If you are...have you heard of Larry Bono? He's the tech I used to use and I can't find him. Just wondering if you had heard of him and if so do you have any updated info. I can't even find him in white pages.....hitting a wall and I don't like it!!! grrrrr

I got his number from the principal piccolo player for the Atlanta symphony. I am trying to restore an antique piccolo and his name was given to me. He seems like a really nice guy.

Email me and I will give you more details.
