I took a risk and ordered a new wooden flute case off of Ebay, from a seller who is in Australia. In case anyone else is interested in these, I am VERY pleased with my purchase! It is a beautiful piece of work, my flute fits nicely, very snug, and the Seller also adds a personalized engraved nameplate on the outside of the case for you! The price is reasonable, too, just a little over $100 US. It does take longer to get the case, but I considered it worth the wait. BTW -- I decided to have "My Precious" put on the nameplate ..... yea, I'm a Tolkien geek.

Oohhh, that's a shame! I didn't even think about that since I just have the standard mechanisms on my Sankyo. Maybe he'll offer another style in the future. It is a wonderful case! And thanks for the kudos for my Tolkinesque naming -- it gives me a smile every time I see it, and very appropriately named, too!
