I CAN'T FIND A PICCOLO !

it's very sad.
my mom and i went to five pawn shops today and none of them had piccolos.
flutes and clarinets and saxophones, but no piccolos !

we also went to a few music stores, but some of them didn't sell them, one was currently out, and the other had two weary-looking crumbling piccolos that looked like if i picked them up they would fall apart.

im just looking for a less than $315 used, probably, but DECENT piccolo.

i have a problem, though.
i have never played the piccolo.
i can try them out and all, sure, but how am i supposed to know if its me or the instrument?

There are others that may be ok, but these are more well known comodities. Also, these pics come from reputable sources. Your only other alternative is to buy a used one from a known quality brand, then expect to pay $50-$100 dollars to get it cleaned and adjusted. Here are a few I would take a chance on.

Again, I would expect to have work done on them even if they say it is playable. Basicaly, you will just have to do your homework when it comes to buying any instrument. If you have a reasonable price in mind, the instrument you want will be out there somewhere.

If you are a decent flute player, you will know if it is you or the instrument. Trust me! The only limitation is when you play on a Pic for the first time, you may not be able to play the full range of the instrument. However, the portion of the instrument you WILL be able to play will not be playable if there are leaks. A piccolo is not as forgiving as a flute when it comes to leaks.

I'm searching the internet for a good deal, but price is a major problem.
