Is that anything like the old "Hooked on Classics"? I vaguely remember my uncle had that cassette tape and it was basically a bunch of classical music but "enhanced"... like adding a back beat to them and stuff... I don't know if it was all electronic though.
Not really my style I have to say, I am sort of particular about classical music.... I hate to see also Fuer Elise changed, distorted etc.
What I sometimes like is some sort of relaxing music produced electronically. I can find an example later, but I am sure you know what I mean... Nothing to do with classical music, but rather meditation, relaxation, that sort of things...

Keep in mind, you can also use a flute as a peashooter. We know who your next target will be ...

I walked up to one institute for the arts extremely excited because someone was at my school supporting musicians, artists, etc. I walk up to the table and begin speaking to the gentleman about his music program at the school. He says: Oh, we don't have the traditional music setting; no orchestra or ensembles. We use electronics to produce our music, that way the music industry will have use for them and they will have jobs.
What made me so mad was that here all of us are, working hard as we can, to become the best we can be and there is a person saying all this stuff about electronics producing real music. All we hear nowadays on the radio is electronic music and I'm tired of it. Where is the musicianship in the button-pushing of it all? I am sorry if I have offended anyone, but I just needed to rant about this experience. Maybe, someday in the future, people will appreciate what hard work we put in.
the human and the relationship with organic instrument will always have a place
computer generated sounds will lack the dimension of organic sounds until the line between the two is nonexistent
and at that point it wouldn't even matter because they'd be synonymous and you'd have nothing to worry about!
as ridiculous as that might sound :]
It seems that the line between the two is changing. Here's an example of how the line is blurring: Using iPad and iPhone apps for live musical performance. Electronic music with a touch of humanity added.
