parents. They will listen if you talk to them. Don't yell or be upset when
talking just talk calmly to them explaining all the reasons why you want to
switch. Make sure your reasons are reasonable.

i know the feeling. when i first got assigned the
flute, geez i hated it. since i was stuck in band anyways, i kept practicing (a
whole lot) and it got much better. still got problems with the instrument, but
it doesnt really matter. the flute may not be the right instrument for you.
i've gotten headaches too. but remember, miles davis (he did more to jazz than
any other person in history) hated the trumpet when he first started. michael
jordan wanted to play baseball. funny how things work out.
"A flute
with no holes is not a flute, and a doughnut with no hole is a Danish" --Chevy
Chase The Socrates of the Republic ... rejects the flute; for ... the flute is
... exciting and emotional. Poetry proves this, for Bacchic frenzy and all
similar emotions are most suitably expressed by the flute." --Aristotle,
"Politics"

it's just not as fun to me as the clarinet... and it's really hard to be in
tune with other flutes... The musice is easy, I can really play the flute better
than i play the clarinet, but i just like the clarinet better

the selected piece......I told to my band director, and we agreed to that

ok hi everybody! well all i can say about this is that.
NO PARENT SHOULD EVER EVER EVER MAKE THERE KIDS PLAY A MUSICAL INSTRUMENT ITS A
WAIST OF TIME AND MONEY. i play flute for the wonderful feeling i get. knowing i
have worked hard and try my best. if you dont get a good feeling just dont play
it. if your parents force you go to sombody and talk to them about it maby they
can get it through your parents head! but if you love it stick with it! 3 words
PRATICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!!!!
