Going to flute show - what flutes should I request?
I'm going to attend a flute convention with plans to select a new professional flute, and the flute seller said to ask for my top five favorite professional flutes for them to bring. I'm thinking about the Muramatsu DS, the Sonare, and not sure what else. Any suggestions? Unfortunately the Nagaharas seem to start at $12,000 which may be out of my price range.

You didn't mention what your budget is but there is a big price difference between the Muramatsu DS (~$9000 and up) and the Sonare series ($1500-5000). If you are looking at pro flutes in the just under $10000 range, try these: Mura DS, Powell Conservatory, Burkhart Professional, Pearl Maesta, Haynes Classic Q4.
