Hi. I am interested in trying to make some extra money by playing flute solo for a local restaurant. (I have heard of at least one other person doing this.) I need to work up a repertoire. Could anyone recommend any classy compositions that are appropriate for a fine-dining atmosphere? I was thinking along the lines of material that was pleasant and perhaps a bit romantic, while being somewhat quiet and subdued (i.e., not overly intrusive). I prefer music that is relatively easy to learn, but of course I will take whatever I can get.
