Piccolo help please?

Post by Music=life42 »

My parents and I are looking into getting a piccolo for me to use for marching band. The thing is, I will probably have to use it for concert season too. I know not to get a metal one, or a wood because it will be outside. I do like having the metal head joint because I find it easier to play. We don't have a very big budget either. Any help would be nice!!

I think you gave the answer yourself :-)

You may seek for a piccolo like the Yamaha YPC-32 (silver headjoint, plastic body, plated keys).
I think these days there are many similar copies out there.

Good luck

Our school actually has one like this, but it is wood. I am currently marching with that, but it is missing half of the cork you put the head joint onto... I do like that piccolo though and will probably get the YPC-32 :)
