Yes, it is the same company. I was always a bit leary of buying
a flute from a company that makes snowmobiles and motorcycles. But there
reputation in the fluteworld is better than some companys that only make flutes.
We now have 2 Yamahas here now and I feel good about going with them. Kim

Yes, one and the same. A number of years ago, James Galway had
both legs and an arm broken after being struck by a motorcycle as he was walking
along the side of a road. Apparently, it was a Yamaha motorcyle...kind of ironic
given that he is such a strong supporter of Muramatsu flutes! [:p]
