I was just wondering if there was a way to show the name of the most recently updated topic on the forums homepage for each board.....like it used to be. I find it very confusing trying to figure out which forums to read.
I'd like to second that...ususally I go right to the section with the topics updated for the day, but this layout doesn't have one. It just makes things a little more confusing.
Other than that, the layout looks nice
I think this is related but I noticed at the bottom of the page there is a symbol for topics that have been updated- couldn't that just be activated so that it appears next to the topic?
Anyway this is an easy site to use and much better than most. Good job.
Actually, the new topic feature on the bottom will appear next to the topic as soon as you login with your username/password. That will give you an indication where the updates are, especially since new topics will be displayed on top.

One more tip - once you login, there will be a "View posts since last visit" link on the upper right side of the board (above the forums). This will display all the posts since your last logged in visit.
You do have to login in when you browse the board for this feature to remember your last visit
