Gig Bags
When I went to a flute course in April, I saw that my friend had a 'Gig Bag' to carry her music and stuff in. I went on the site and it said it was down so they could add their new range on. I have been waiting since then, could anyone tell me about 'Gig Bags', their durability, pricing and stuff. I have emailed them but there has been no reply. Grr.

It get's tricky carrying around a flute, piccolo, folder of music, and maybe some other stuff... So some clever people created bags to carry it all together--gig bags. A typical gig bag carries a flute, piccolo, a large music folder, and your odds and ends. Of course, many diffent types are made to hold every possible combination of instruments and gadgets. Altieri is the biggest maker of such bags, just do a search for "altieri flute gig bags" to check out their products. If you just carry your flute and nothing else there is no reason to get a big bag, it's just to help you keep all the pieces together when you have lots of stuff.
