Does anyone here play the didgeridoo? I bought a relatively small one on holiday last week. I only tried to play it once, but it doesn't seem to be very easy to produce a nice sound at the beginning.
Do you know of any really good site that teaches you how to play the didgeridoo?

Didgeridoo players are typically self taught. There is a guy on YouTube who does some great lessons, a simple search and he will turn up. He teaches certain sounds and how to use circular breathing. I intend to learn how to play in the future after I get a firm grasp on flute playing.
I picked up a make shift didg once just to see if its something I'd enjoy and it was surprisingly FUN and I felt that in the right mindset and setting that it would be a very spiritual instrument in all it's simple beauty and splendor. Funny because that's what the Australians use it for.
I didn't have much trouble producing a good sound although it took effort to maintain as my lips would get numb, lol. Just remember to slighlty push your lower lip out and blow like you'd blow like youre giving a raspberry (assuming you know what that is). What key is yours in? I've heard that the larger more bassy didgeridoos are harder to make sound, may have something to do with it.
I feel like the didg was made for folks that just like to relax and get in the right head space. Great for drum circles, if you're into that. One of my favorite European bands use the didg, go figure!

Thanks, yes, I did find some Youtube lessons.
My didgeridoo is pretty small, so not as powerful as big didgeridoos, but it is a real didgeridoo with real Aboriginal paintings. I saw it at a sale while on holiday and could not resist the temptation to buy it.
