Aloha!

Post by Chris Carr »

Aloha,

I've been trolling this board for the last week, and it seems like a great place! Phineas seems very dedicated to making this a great place for members and visitors alike.

The flute was my first instrument, however, I set it down for 30+ years. I recently purchased another flute, deciding to get back into it, as I really enjoyed playing as a child. Time flies, as looking back, recently turns out to be almost 2 years ago. I guess it feels like it's been a short time, as I still feel like I'm fumbling about a good deal of the time.

I am a multi-instrumentalist, my main instrument being guitar. I also piano and bass. I just purchased a piccolo a few weeks ago, and I'm playing that live for a song with one of the bands I play in. I would ordinarily be playing my flute for a few tunes in both bands, however, I just sent it off yesterday for an overhaul. I realized how addicted I am to the instrument when I found myself considering using that as an excuse to buy another one!

Anyhow, this seems like a great community and I look forward to participating!
