Newbie intro

Post by Lottie »

Hey there,

I'm an amateur adult player from the land of Oz.
Looking for a place to learn and share.

I'm in love with my flute, Nemo, a Pearl 765 RBE CODA.

Currently doing AMEB grade 3 / 4 but like to take my time to develop good technique and tone rather than rush through, ticking off grades... I've only been playing two years but I played the viola for about eight years when I was younger. I learnt a lot about learning to play by ear but missed out on a lot of theory and rhythm reading! Filling in the gaps now...

I've only just found a person to regularly play duets with. I'm thankful for the find! I've missed making music with others...

Lotts :)

Welcome Lottie!

Its great that you found someone to play with.
I love duets as well. Guitar and flute.
I'm trying to find a violist that has some extra time to play some Kuffner trios.

Thanks for joining!

Thanks for the welcome! Yes, violists are fewer and further between... I do still like to pick mine up but I'm not nearly as decent as I used to me. I LOVE listening to classical guitar - how fabulous it must be with flute!
