I recently aquired a Sterling Silver flute and would like to know as much as possible about it, as I do intend to sell it. The head joint is marked "Krecmer CZ KLADNO STERLING SILVER" and the body joint is marked: RECITAL Aug.Rich.Hammig Markneukirchen 3844 S" (the S is inside of a triangle) the foot joint is unmarked. Assemble length of just over 26" the entire flute has tested positive for sterling silver.
Thank you,

Hi,
"better late than never" -I just found a flute similar to yours on Ebay: It is a past auction but describe your flute pretty well:
" Up for auction is an extremely beautiful vintage flute August Richard Hammig - "Recital".
Solid silver is the head joint, body, foot and keys. Beautiful playing condition.
Pads are old. No cracks or dings. Serial number : 3511
C-Foot, E mechanics, original G/A special trill. Pitch is A=442 Hz.
All original. Nothing is replaced. Original case.
The flute has been played with for 15 years in the National Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra(first flutist).
Beautiful deep sound, one of the best flutes in the world.
Final auction sale: $2,300.00 USD.

Re: I recently aquired a Sterling Silver flute?
Try googling at google.co.uk, or google.ru. I found information about a flute from the Soviet Union this way.
For google.ru, you will need a second window/tab open for translate.google. Go from English to Russian with the name of the flute. You will need to use translate because we have English keyboards. Then cut and paste into google.ru.
You can have google translate the webpages.
Google isn't a relational database. It is focused on the country of use, so what shows up on google.ru will not show up on google.com.
