I just wanted to let you know of a
possibility that you may want to consider when looking for a new flute. Be sure
to check with your local music stores about flutes that they may have on
consignment. You never know what kind of treasure you might find. Kim

always pays to keep your eyes open. Several years ago my wife ran across a flute
in an Antique shop for $150. I was interested in flutes but- was it worth $150?
She came home told me about it, we called a friend that knew something about
flutes and found it was indeed a great deal. Unfortunately, according to the
shop owner the second my wife left another customer in the store grabbed the
bargin. You snooze you loose I guess....

I agree. I have read a
number of stories like yours. It seems that there are people that come across a
flute or other item, not knowing what it is exactly worth and drop it off in
some shop somewhere hoping to make a few bucks. As they say "One person's trash
another persons treasure. Kim [/quote] It always pays to keep your eyes open.
