jazz anyone?

I can..play my jazz band music on my flute..But I'm not technically a jazz flautist..^^;;

I took Jazz improv at band camp, but I felt really uncomfortable there. I was the only flute and the only girl. It was a pretty stressful class becuase there were so many loud people crammed into a little shack. I still like jazz flute, I'm just not an improviser.

i used to transpose alto sax parts for the schools jazz band, but that was more just for fun. i love playing jazz though!! hehe!

Im going to be in jazz band next year...i cant wait! im going to be in jazz,concert, marching,honnor (hopefully)(same with Seba).

My band was supposed to have jazz band this year... -sigh-... but it doesn't matter. My director said the other day he doesn't want any flutes in jazz band

. Then my friend, who loves jazz, and I were talking about it, and he said that flutes are actually good for jazz. Which makes things even worse.

nii_neko, it sounds like you're going to have a lot of fun next year! I hope I can have some of the same opportunities as you, with it being my last year in middle school!
