does anyone own a Mirage Flute or piccolo?? my dad just ordered on for me but i need to know if they are good flutes! thanx!! :!: :?:

I just googled the company, and I didnt learn much. they dont have a webpage. I just found a dealer who sold them. I dont own one, so I cant tell you anything about quality. I honestly have never heard of this company before. ummmm.......... good luck? :o

I'm sorry to have to say it, but they are not high quality instruments. They are in the range of instruments with the colored flutes off eBay and the cheap Chinese imports. These flutes are extremely hit or miss, so your particular instrument may be decent, but I wouldn't expect too much from it. In future, you're probably better asking around before purchasing an instrument. Chances are you'll need to replace it before too long, in which case you should stick to name brand instruments, like Gemeinhardt, Yamaha, Armstrong, etc.
