Gaubert - Nocturne et Allegro Scherzando
This is the Florida Flute Fair's High School Young Artist Competition piece for next year! I have been working on it and I absolutely LOVE it. Question on the second movement. I simply cant play it at a tempo of 152 with all that double tonguing and whatnot.....should I work up to it??

I'm glad I've found this thread. I'm going to perform this recital and have been trying to research information about the peice and why/what inspired it but I havn't been able to find anything. I was hoping someone knew? I have this this interpretation in my head, I was wondering how similar it was
